2022 Tony Award nomination for Hangmen, Best Scenic Design of a Play

Just weeks after Hangmen opened on Broadway at the Golden Theatre, it has been announced that Anna Fleischle's design for the play has been nominated for a Tony award in the category: Best Scenic Design of a Play.

Nominations in 26 competitive categories for the American Theatre Wing’s 75th Annual Antoinette Perry “Tony” Awards® were announced today by Tony Award-winner Adrienne Warren and three-time Tony Nominee Joshua Henry. The nominees were selected by an independent committee of 29 theatre professionals appointed by the Tony Awards Administration Committee. The 2022 Tony Awards are presented by The Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing

Hangmen has been nominated in a total of five categories in this year's Tony Awards. Categories include: Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role in a Play (David Threlfall), Best Performance by an Actor in a Featured Role in a Play (Alfie Allen), Best Scenic Design of a Play (Anna Fleischle), Best Lighting Design of a Play (Joshua Carr) & Best Play.
